We have decided to undergo certification because we believe that implementing quality management systems and certifying our products can positively shape the future of our company. The certification standards that we have obtained are a valuable opportunity to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to meeting customer requirements, with a strong focus on product safety and quality, all while complying with regulations and respecting the environment.
BRCGS
The BRCGS standard for packaging materials was developed to protect consumers by ensuring that suppliers operate according to fundamental requirements and well-defined quality standards. Developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), this standard aims to guarantee the hygienic and safety quality not only of packaging materials intended for contact with food, but also of those used in non-food sectors. GeGraf first achieved BRCGS certification in 2012 and continues to demonstrate its commitment by renewing it annually.
FSC certification ensures responsible forest management, full traceability, and protection of forest-derived products. It is an international certification system that ensures the raw materials used to produce wood or paper products come from forests that are managed according to strict environmental, social, and economic standards. In 2021, GEGRAF obtained FSC certification for the creation of flexible packaging for the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic sectors, using FSC MIX-certified paper.
